With the ridiculous, biblical even, rain lately the EST exhaust has started the banshee wail of screaming murder. (its actually far louder than the stock rain squeal was)
Anyone who has the EST with JRL mod:
-How loud? Still reasonable?
-Cabin drone/resonance? (my main concern)
Any sound clips floating around? Didn't find any...
I have the Ferrita exhaust with JRL mod. I love the way it sounds, all though it's quite a bit louder then the Ferrita exhaust with the resonator still in.

Here's what I'll say - I got a tiny bit of cabin droning noise from the Exhaust + Downpipe installation that I have, before chopping out the resonator. Once I had the resonator chopped out, I would say that my cabin drone is "moderate". It's not like sitting in some straight-pipes Mustang or some 17-foot-wide JDM can....but it's not like sitting in a Prius either. It doesn't capture onto video very well, and with the stereo on at a reasonable volume, you just sort of tune it out after a little while. It's harshest at low RPM's, if you're stuck at 25-35 MPH stop-n-go traffic, but at idle it's pretty sweet. Highway, I have more road noise from my tires than the exhaust can keep up with
I would say it depends on your situation. If you have anyone in your family who hates cars and thinks you are the devil for modifying it....AND you care what they say, I would leave it alone. Otherwise, go for it! The sound itself is fantastic.

m3nt0s,
What is that socket wrench sound at the top of the RPMs??? (25, 27, 29seconds, then you hear half of it as the video ends when your not goosing it)

It's a higher pitch version of the low-end gurgle/burble which you hear at idle. It sounds like ass on the video, I'll try shooting the exhaust from further away tomorrow and maybe it'll sound better. It sounds good I promise
