so on and off I get a check engine light.
when i read the code, it reads fuel system error...which in the past has implied that the fuel cap wasn't sealed..
any thoughts? bad fuel cap o-ring seat? or is there a deeper, darker issue w/ ECM module??
Thanks in advance

codes being read through the IPD softloader

Fuel system error has nothing to do with any leaks.
You don't "interpret" WHAT IS THE ACTUAL CODE?

It should still be shown as a stored code, even if it is not active.

I mentioned interpret only as the service people have mentioned in the past that this code implied that the fuel cap was not on properly

darn, IPD software not letting me stored codes messages....I knew I should have written that down... ECM4003 or ECM400C......will have to wait again.
It seems to happen when i gas up between 93 octane/ethanol and 93 octane non-ethanol. try to use non-ethanol as much as possible...
