…and a confirmation email will be returned to the first 100 for entry to the car show area.

You're probably among the first to learn of this registration procedure, so don't delay; sign up before the crowd and general public. You'll have a great time, lots of activities are planned, meet old and new friends and stroll among the car show entries. Be sure to visit the VCOA exhibit and say hello.

Trip to Scandinavia - August 2013
What better way to celebrate VCOA's 30th Anniversary.
Join fellow VCOA members on a tour to Sweden, with a visit to Volvo Cars and much more next August. If enough interest, we'll proceed with one of these two travel options beginning in:
1. Oslo, Norway: City tours with scenic tours of mountains and fjords by rail, boat, or bus. Then on to Goteborg.
2. Copenhagen, Denmark: City tours then motorcoach to Kingdom of Glass (Orrefors Crystal and Kosta Boda), stops at Genuine Classic Parts, VP-Autoparts then on to Goteborg.

Upon arrival in Goteborg, activities may include the Volvo Museum, Volvo Experience Center, side trip to engine assembly plant and high speed test track (pending site vacation schedules) and other yet to be determined 'back stage' tours.

Departure could be around the 1st of August 2013 so that our final day in Goteborg would be the 2nd Saturday in August to attend VROM - Volvo Rendezvous for Owners and Members - hundreds of cars on display from the many Volvo Owners clubs from throughout Sweden. The car factory assembly plant will be in shut-down at that time; however, the opportunity to take an Overseas Delivery of a new 2014 custom built Volvo will be possible on Friday, the day before VROM. A special incentive may be negotiated for deliveries in conjunction with this tour. Purchasers then have the freedom to continue their vacation on their own in their new Volvo. Remember that air-fare for 2 is included in your OSD price so you'd only incur the tour costs.

To proceed with more detailed planning, we need an indication if enough members would be interested. Please respond to john at vcoa dot org and indicate the following

1. Your preference: NORWAY or DENMARK route
2. Number of travelers in your party
3. OSD perhaps, YES or NO?

As firm dates are known and more specific travel details and costs are defined we'll keep you posted by email. Group size may be limited with a minimum required to secure group bookings. Don't pack your bags yet but start saving your pennies or Kroner.
