Sales at Enkei said to do special configurations, they would require at least 40 wheels sold. I would purchase 5 of those. We'd have to all go the same size. I'm thinking 17x8, but would go for 18x8 too.

Any other interested? Thoughts?

I am interested as well.

...Guesstimate on weight of these in 17x8, versus Pegs? Cost guesstimate?

I think that they 18x7.5 version that Viva used to have for sale had a weight savings of ~10lbs per wheel versus an 18" peg. I think they weighed in at 16lbsish... Really light wheels for the R :D

I've heard these were a little soft (could use some verification), so was thinking the 17" would be better for us so we can get more sidewall. And lighter wheel even still. True?

I've got RP03's and they appear to be very strong. Hit a couple potholes and not even the slightest bend, 17" with 215/45 on the S40

I like those a lot.
Also would like to know a price.
As for the size I'd go with 17x8.5 et35

With an offset that fits the R, they probably won't look like that anymore. Push out that center a few inches more.

Pic, in case others, like me, are curious what they look like:
The RPF1 is one of the strongest cast wheels available.
They are light weight and strong.
Many people track with them.

Sort of- they don't bend as easily as some, but they're one of the softer wheels out there. I'd put them as a bit softer than team dynamics. For example, when racing last summer a friend of mine marred up a spoke a little bit by dropping a lug on it.

They won't get damaged by hard driving, but one hard curbing and they're donezo.

RPF1 can't be beat for clean appearance and R-worthiness and begging to be driven. The other ones might be purtier for taking pictures of with puddle lights on and snowy mountain backdrops, agreed.

I like 'em both but the RFP1 can only look good in silver or some other bright color... in black I think you would lose the cleanness and size of em pretty quickly.

Some images from Forza4 with RPF01's [which should look almost identical]
