I'll be swapping my tired B18 for a B20 out of a '73 es in a few weeks. My car is a '68 P1800 and keeping my SU's on the cast integrated intake/exhaust manifold (I've removed the butterflies in the intake).

Should I pull motor and trans or just motor? There is nothing wrong w/ the trans but curious on what is the eaisiest way to actually do the swap. Any sage advice from you pro's would be greatly appreciated.

I'm a shade tree mechaninc w/ decent skils. I've pulled motors before in GM cars but never a Volvo.

The trans has to come out, either with the motor or first. I personally find it easier to pull the trans, and then the motor separately.
