Hi folks,
Is there any way to determine if the engine in a 66 ‘ 1800 S is original to the vehicle ?

yes, cant find it now, search for "contact Volvo archives", they can send you the build sheet which lists engine number.

you can get an idea if you have the correct engine from this link
