Elevate Rear Brace

Thinking about the next relatively low cost upgrade for the C30 - the Elevate rear chassis brace. I don't haul a ton of stuff in my C30, so I'm leaning toward the non-removable flavor (it's way less $ as well). The bulkiest thing so far has been a bale of peat moss from Lowes. Just trying to think of any other reasons why it would make sense to spend almost 2X to have the removable version. Then it's just a question of what color to pick from.

I bought the fixed brace in black. Literally amazing how different it made the car feel too!

I originally bought the fixed version. But, it was out of stock. So I changed the order to the removeable. I am very glad I did. I don't need to remove it often, but when you need to, you need to. I recommend the removal one from someone who thought the fixed would be ok for me.

100% my experience as well. I wanted the fixed for the price and thought to myself, "how often do I haul stuff anyway?" Well the fixed wasn't available when I ordered so I got the removable and I'm so happy I did. The fixed version came back in stock a few days later and I wasn't at all mad about it. Like you said, it's just super clutch when you need to take it out.

throwing my .02 in as well.

I have had the fixed rear brace for a few years and am happy with it. I haven't found it to be that big of an issue with cargo space. However, that obviously depends on what you are hauling. What you can get it is also limited A. the rear cargo hatch opening or B. space behind the rear seats to squeeze by. I have found the cargo hatch to be the limiting factor more often.

I've still managed to fit everything from a mountain bike (front tire removed), a lawn mower, to sleeping in the rear with the seats laid down. (God bless Talladega 🦅)

(Mountain bike is just sorta angled in with the rear seats down, the lawn mower has the handle folded up but fits with rear seats up. If you go car camping don't forget the bar is there when you wake up and slam into it trying to sit up lol.)

That said, it is probably worth it for the removable but I've only had one or two instances of "aw hell, the brace is in the way." in the few years I have had it.
