Re: Electric windows disabled (guidowitz)

Do they not work on the drivers side, but do at each door? Or do they not work at all?
Pull the switch box apart and do a really good cleaning on each switch.
http://forums.turbobricks.com/...65466
you may have to join to see it, but everyone should join Turbobricks for the wealth of knowledge there.
As an addition to the turbobricks post, some people like to replace the bearings in the switches. I forget which size (.177, .20, or .22) bb is the right size replacement.

Re: Electric windows disabled (volvostud)

Thanks much! I am a Turbobricks subscriber too but didn't think to go there first. Nice write up!
All my switches failed at once, but this cleaning sounds like a great place to start!
Thanks again for the link!
