I don't have them but it will more than likely throw your rear camber Waaayyy out of spec.

Re: Eibach springs (Predator)

I've had Eibachs on my R for thousands of miles with no adverse effects or uneven tire wear. Only slight camber.

Re: Eibach springs (foReveR)

I have Heico springs. Fantastic really, much improved handling, especially at speed. Combined with sways is a big improvement. Yes, camber is off but I haven't seen a big wear problem. Truth is, with mods of any sort there is going to be some cost. For example, I'm pretty sure my intercooler and RICA tune are causing more premature wear on my tires then my camber...

I have a set of Eibach springs for my S60r, but I haven't installed them yet. What did you end up paying to have them installed?
By biggest concern about them is how it may adversely affect ride quality on rough roads. The roads in Boston can be pretty bad, and I am just worried about the ride quality going to sh** and shaking my teeth loose.
Can you comment on this after having the springs in your car for some time?

Re: Eibach springs (arethusa71)

I've had the Eibachs on my 05 R for about 2 years now with no problems yet. The ride is a little more rough, but not so much that it is not comfortable. Most passengers don't know I've even got springs on the car.

Re: Eibach springs (Predator)

The shocks don't travel as much because the springs are stiffer but they are more compressed because the springs are shorter...is that good or bad or a little of both..I'm not really sure. I have the Heico(Eibachs) and iPD Track sways. The only thing comfortable about the ride now is the seats, well if your on a smooth road you can't tell the difference. Both are going to improve handling individually and together it's insane. If you want to improve the handling w/o sacrificing ride comfort do the sways, if you want to improve ride and the look of the car with some sacrifice in comfort do the springs.

Re: Eibach springs (pafox)

Agreed, regarding ride comfort. I find that the springs just shifted the 4C over one setting, so Comfort became Sport, Sport became Advanced, Advanced became, well, ummm, Advanced became, something like "Track use only unless the road is glass smooth and you need razor flat handling" I'm not sure all that will fit on the button though.
I use advanced and sport all the time, I like it.
No problems yet with the shocks, etc.

Re: Eibach springs (Predator)

Same with Boston! I had gotten the springs from another swedespeed member, along with my exhaust. I didnt really research too much before getting them. Now I am apprehensive. Ive already gotten 4 damaged or flat tires just this year! and PS2's arent cheap!!!!
