Top 5 Cars You Consider to be Lucky Charms

Top o' the mornin' to ya! Hey, look at those little wispy men wearing green do a little jig while spouting jingles! Is it the David Spade family reunion? No, laddie, it's St. Paddy's Day! March brings us that great Irish holiday when friends and loved ones of Gaelic descent get together to celebrate their heritage. Nah, it's just an excuse to swill cheap green beer and pinch people who would otherwise slap us - with a sexual harassment lawsuit, anyway. With shamrocks, leprechauns and pot o' gold in mind, we asked our editors, "What car do you consider to be a lucky charm?"

2001 Volvo S60 - Yet another of our associate editors isn't really sure as to whether she even believes in luck (pretty blasphemous considering she's of Gaelic descent, isn't it?), so this question posed a particular challenge for her. By reconciling her essentially practical nature with the tendency of human beings to attribute whatever befalls them to either good or bad fortune, she settled on the Volvo S60 as her
"lucky charm." She figures it would afford her the pleasure of driving a reasonably sporty sedan, while providing the peace of mind that comes with Volvo's high standards for safety. That way, if she were to be so unfortunate as to get into a serious car accident, her odds of walking away would be that much better. And when people talked about her miraculous survival, they'd say, "Boy, was she lucky."

The Others:

2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser
2001 Ford Mustang
2001 Infiniti QX4
2001 Mazda Miata
