You're welcome.

What did you think of the review? i didn't care for the minivan comments in the beginning of the article. There's no way it looks like a MV from ANY angle, don't know what they're talking about - If anything it looks like a tall, sleek station wagon.

Whatever...

I hadn't heard that b4 about the GM sourcing, I dunno if it's true or not. They said it's a good one, tho...
I know, that sux about the 4 speed.
I hope Volvo can come up with a way to fit a smaller 5sp or maybe a CVT in the T6. It's a shame to have such a good engine hampered by a not-stellar tranny.

I think they are wrong and mixed up in that article, as far as I know. The 4-speed is a GM unit, where-as the 5-speed is an Aisin Warner unit.

Not to worry though, GM makes some of the best transmissions in the world actually. One of the things that they are good at. BMW has used them for years and still does.

My take on the article is that it was more of a fluff piece than anything else. Edmunds.com usually does this on their First Drive articles. I will wait until they really do a test drive to make any conclusions.

Good point.
A Comparo should be even better - then we'll get to see how it stacks up against the competition.
They'll probably pit it against the BMW X5, the Lexus RX300, the Acura MDX, the Mercedes, maybe even the Cadillac Escalade...should be interesting.
