I washed the R and took it for a few hour trip today. The whole drive felt like it was a little slower than usual. I could only boost to 7psi, but that was happening before today and felt quicker then. Today it bounced around a bit between 5-7 non consistent as the 7psi i was getting before today, definitely felt down on power. I got home and ran my vida and found 2 codes present ECM-201A and ECM-3523. 201a shows as a possible ect sensor or thermostat and the other as a misfire on cyl # 2. Has anyone had these two in conjunction? Both my coils and plugs are new. I know a bad ect can affect the A/f ratio and a stuck thermostat. One more thing to order when i order my timing belt kit + water pump.

Anyone? I'm going to order a thermostat assembly anyway to do with water pump since I have to drain it anyway.
 
i'm not completely sure but i think that a cylinder 2 misfire is a symptom of a cracked sleeve. i haven't seen that other code but the thermostat can affect the a/f ratio and the engine drops power so it doesn't nuke itself

This thing was babied from every indication I have found so far. I haven't seen above 7-8psi since i got it, i figured with it not running up to 14psi would help it from cracking wouldn't you think? I've been babying it pretty good too. I didn't have this issue before I did the DP, and awd fluids flushed. I cleared the codes last night and drove it to work today. Ill see if they come back. I hope i don't have a cracked block already. I will do the coolant/gas test this weekend. water pump has been seeping a little but i'm fairly positive its original, though not while its running.

I checked again today thru vida and no codes at the moment. The other bit i noticed is that its pulling a little more vacuum than usual when it started acting up before I was getting 17-18 at idle in park now its closer to 19-20 in park.
