On the inside of my hood, where my windshield wipers come through, im missing the cap on the line which makes my fluid spray all over the inside of my compartment...is there an easy fix or do i need the $20 tiny dealer part?
I'm looking to do some work on my car this weekend and since ill be putting in time for an oil change i might as well knock out whatever else i can that's pretty simple so if there are any thought besides oil and coolant let me know!!

Modified by failurbydesign at 4:48 PM 8-12-2009

Re: Easy questions...parts and maintenece (failurbydesign)

Mine just recently did that same thing and one of the plug things popped off somehow. Looking into it now, I'll let you know what I find out. It looked like you could just tape it off and it would work fine.

If you're going to put soil in, I'd at least go fully synthetic. Just one guy's opinion- not here to start an oil debate.
(Sorry, just couldn't resist!)

HA good cath Eric! I type fast a never look... : )
Also for the sprayer, i went to home depot and bought two T drip line connectors which fit and work better than the volvo parts!

I used the T for the drivers side and the L for the passengers side!
