I'm planning on installing the isimple bluetooth/fm modulator to my V50 that came without an aux in. I need to run a 12V hot wire from the center console (rear) 12V cigarette lighter to the rear hatch area where the modulator goes. At least, I'm under the impression it needs to be installed back there in order to connect to the antenna correctly. I would also want to run the microphone cable up to the center console area in order to use handsfree calling. I don't know if it's kosher to run the 12V lead next to the mic lead or if EMI could be an issue. Regardless, has someone already discovered a good place to route these cables? I thought I'd ask before I start pulling things apart.

If you dont have the switched outlet you may be able to grab power from the antenna amplifier (us model). Wiring diagrams in the sticky.

Grab the right rear trailer hitch power supply - approx 10ga red wire on the right rear side of the trunk. Just slice into it and route wiring as you see fit. Oh, unhook the battery first or you may end up with weird error alerts.
