Does anyone know if this is a reasonable DIY task? I've seen a lot on dealing w/ the 850 blower motors, but no write up on accessing the P2 V70 blowers. Also, once accessed, it should be a simple plug and play with the resistor pack, correct?
Mechanic pulled the code and diagnosed my strange blower issues (see http://forums.swedespeed.com/zerothread?id=118590 ) as a bad blower motor resistor pack. $295 parts and labor, but I'd like to save some if I can do it myself.
Thanks in advance for the input/info.

It's easy to do yourself...in the following video it should be visible just to the left of the blower motor (screwed into the duct work): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=frZl49p2quk

Re: (MadeInJapan)

Thanks for the link. Is it definitely in the same location in my P2 V70 as in the P1 cars? Also, is the glovebox removal process similar? Is there a video/writeup specifically for the P2 S60/V70 anywhere (searched but didn't find one on Youtube)?

Sorry, don't know what I was thinking- it is similar but a bit more involved. I created this over on MVS to help you- good luck!
http://www.matthewsvolvosite.c...21343
