My mother took delivery of her 2003 XC90 just before Xmas. Overall it's a decent car (no Audi, but hey ).
There is one problem though, the DVD Nav system always reports 0 satellites. She lives in Hanover, NH which is in a river valley, so it's not super mountainous. It's about halfway between the MA and Candian borders, along the Connecticut river, to give you an idea. My parents house is about 1000' above sea level near the top of a large hill, so there shouldn't really be obstructions.
I thought the whole point of GPS was that it had worldwide coverage. Has anyone had experience with not being able to track any sateliites at all?
Should she have the dealer look at this, or is it par for the course out in the boonies?
