I have the sylvania silver star's in my DRLs and fogs but they dont quite match my xenons. Has anyone found replacement bulbs that would be similar or closer to the xenons than what i got in my r now<p>thanks in advance

Here's what I got....PIAA Plasma GT-X's....they actually have a pink-ish color to them, it's not the camera that makes them look like that...if you want I'll get some night pics.<p><br><A HREF="http://photobucket.com" TARGET="_blank"><IMG SRC="http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b224/gsxr4000/DSC00443.jpg" BORDER="0"></A>

Best and easiest thing to do is to switch to the sylvania silverstar DRL 9006XS bulb and H3ST fogs.

PIAA's will definitely give you the best lighting in a non-HID type bulb. They are quite a bit more expensive in comparison to SilverStars/Nighthawks but again, they perform as stated.

Guess they're the new fad. So you might be all hip without even knowing. <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://********************/smile/emthup.gif" BORDER="0">

LTA- The box they came in says they are 30% brighter than regular 55w H3 bulbs. They draw the current of a 55w bulb but have the brightness and intensity of a 110w bulb. I paid $60 at my local speed shop, but I'm sure you can find them for a little less on the net.

Yea, I'll grab some night shots tonight, I'll even throw in the stock bulb on one side so you can see a color/intensity comparison. <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://********************/smile/emthup.gif" BORDER="0">

Not sure if they have an application for the front fogs on the new Rs. Hoen was popular here on the R forum a year ago.<br>
