04 s60 r. when i push any of the 3 seat memory settings the driver's mirror will adjust up and keep going and just keep clicking when it can no longer move.

also when i unlock the car keyless the mirror automatically does the same.

with the memory, it will correctly adjust the seats and the passenger mirror and will stop adjustment if i release the button before it hits the end adjustment. but the driver's mirror will keep going for a couple seconds.

ideas hints tips?

Try disconnecting the ground cable from the battery for ten minutes. Do a search for what happens afterward.
