I ended up with a silver on black base model (but I did get the 17" tethys wheels..that was a challenge with the dealer) At any rate, I have a cubbyhole to left of my stereo head-unit. I could swear that somewhere I saw a drink holder that fits there. Anyone know if this is an accessory or??

I had to pull out the two existing drink holders in the center console to install my hands-free kit...and that's why this is an issue for me

Mine is not a factory hands free kit (I should have been more specific). I installed the hands free kit for a Nokia hand-held. If still want to see pictures, I can post in a day or two. The car is currently at the dealer having the AOL accesories installed along with my new drink holder.

Thanks InDy...that's the one. Out of luck the service department at my local dealer had just received one in this morning when I dropped my car off.
FYI...
They informed me that install is not all that easy. Half of the radio has to be removed along with a good portion of the front of the center console up around the radio and controls. I know it looks like a drop in but it's not. They said under normal circumstances it would probably be a hour of shop time. But because they're installing my 10 disc changer (ala AOL) they're going to do it at no charge.

Yeah, it looks like it can be just dropped in, but I guess that is not the case. I would never have guessed that it would take an hour to install. It looks like easily integrated components. Go figure!

Did anyone mention that the cup holder is part of the touring package which also includes: electronic folding head rests,
grocery bag holder in trunk, laminated side glass, air quality sensor, memory function for outside mirrors, homelink, auto dimming
mirrors, and trip computer--(the last three
items are standard on T5 and you cannot get
memory mirrors orair quality sensor for 2.4)
Sticker price? I think $600, maybe $800.

Just two cents more on my experience with the cup holder.>>>> If your cup or can generates
condensation you can expect that moisture
to drip down on the temp contrl panel and
beyond. Just a pet peeve from my point of view. Remedy this by pulling a napkin out
and wiping things off.
