I have a 2001 Volvo s60, when using the lock/unlock button on either door the doors will only lock and will not unlock.<br>How do I solve this problem? <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vortexmediagroup.com/images/banghead.gif" BORDER="0">

interior button and not remote?<p>does the remote work?<p>do you hear the switch trying to unlock them?

same on both passenger and drivers side?<p>when did this start?<p>when car is at a full stop does it do this?

Yes same one both sides.<p>It has always done this, yes car will be at a full stop in Park.<p>Is there something in VADIS that needs to be changed?

It's call a hard restart, and it might fix your problem. <p>Other things to check, is the battery dead in the car and/or the key FOB?

Are all of your doors locking? My car used to do this same thing when the rear driver's side door chose not to lock. Had to reach back to lock it and <i>then</i> hit the button to unlock all of the doors.

Had to reach back to lock it and <i>then</i> hit the button to unlock all of the doors.</TD></TR></TABLE><br>Yes all the doors all lock when I hit the lock button.<br>One thing I do notice if I leave the car inactive for a few minutes with only the drivers door unlocked the rest of the doors locked, when I pull the DRIVERS handle the rear drivers side passenger door unlocks while I open the drivers door. I know that is not normal.

Probably a faulty door module. Replacing the door (and therefore module) on my car seemed to have fixed my problems.
