With 170k miles on the clock (and counting!) my R is still running strong...but with age and with use, rubber parts are simply starting to wear out. Current nuisance item is the foam rubber door gasket for the driver's door, which is finally starting to wear through in places after 12 years of open/close cycles.
Anyone have any tips on replacing this? I know this weatherstripping can be easily had in bulk with pre-applied adhesive, but I'm wondering if there's a particular size and profile folks on here have had luck with.
