Hi All,

I have got an issue with my drivers door on my S60 2014

It doesn't lock when pressing the keyfob straight away but when the deadlocks kick in about 10 seconds later, it locks but then it wont unlock with the keyfob unless I open all the windows and reach in to open it with the internal handle.

However, if I turn on reduced guard so the deadlocks don't kick in, the door doesn't lock when using the fob so it seems as the door locks mechanically but not electronically.

Is this more likely to be the actuator then the lock itself? Ps. its keyless by the way and all others doors lock and unlock fine

I had to replace my lock actuator (2011 T6) as only the driver's door wouldn't lock/unlock reliably. No issues since with the driver's door as far as the locking mechanism goes.

It was just brought to my attention after my driver door decided not to open from the exterior, that there is a recall on the door latches because theyre prone to fail over time when exposed to heat. My appointment is on monday to get mine fixed
