http://media.putfile.com/Volvo-Slideshow
these are pictures i took while i was taking apart my vents to get to some screws that fell down my defroster vent while i drove my car from my front yard to my back yard. Notice the ammount of things missing. one went into the blower motor and got wedged in one of the fan blades. the other one fell down into the floor vent, both sucked to get out.... but if i ever need to replace my blower motor i know what order to take things out in.
Yes it is still waiting to be fixed, my parts are still in the garage, just gotta get some decent weather on a weekend so i can get the parts on. then i can take it to the body shop and spray it and fix some of the dents the other drivers have caused , and clean things up really nicely.
So the lesson here kids is, put things in cheap ziplock bags to prevent major dissassembley and re-assembely of your car. it took me two days, and the glove box doesnt line up right....

Re: Don't drive with stuff on the dash..... trust me (Camyman)

replacing the blower motor has always been one of my least favorite things to do on these volvos and 7 series bmw's...... I'd almost rather put a short block in a v8 or v12 7 series
