I've been chasing a clunk that seems to be coming from the front right and only seems to happen when the car is cold and first started up. 144k miles.

I had the wheel off to change a tire and noticed this mount. Does it look normal or ready for replacement? If replacement, what does that entail?

Thanks

do you get more pronounced vibration when you turn the steering wheel to the R or L while car is stationary? If so that's a good place to start.

I actually get no noise if the car is stationary, steering wheel movement doesn't induce the noise.
Fixed the photos for ya! Good Luck :)
Ha, thanks, but I actually pulled the IMG tags so as to not make a huge, long post :)
There should be two bolts securing that mount to the engine. The top bolt is missing on your setup.
I don't see the threaded hole for the missing bolt. It almost looks like the engine is sitting so low that the upper hole aligned with the lower bolt.
I had a similar thought from looking at similar engines but as there wasn't a threaded hole, I figured the R blocks only took one bolt. To my knowledge this mount has never been removed or messed with at all. The noise I'm chasing is less than a month old.

Thanks for the replies, all!
