Lol ... I think the specs are in the thread but my car is dropped on H&R's and has Bilstein sport shocks made specifically for a drop. I did not do any bushings, sway bars, etc. The car has settled a bit and is a little lower than in those pictures now. 30K after the drop and still going strong. I just replaced CV joints (91K total) but I think that is likely pretty standard anyway.

yup, quick brick has one of the nicest c70s around.
super cool, custom updates that are quite tasteful and improve performance

so tempted to drop myself but horrible LA roads hold me back... planning to keep it a few more years but already starting to save for the next car so probably nothing more than regular maintenance going forward for the c70.

thank you. this car looks good so im definitely going to buy heico suspension

Yes, Michigan isn't much better. I just broke my second set of 19" wheels and am back on 18's - Niche Targa's ... no pics, sorry. Soon maybe.

Also swapped out my drilled rotors and Stoptech pads for the High Carbon Centric and Akebono ceramic pads (finally available for the 320mm front rotors) and am MUCH happier.

I also have my eye on my next car and may trade Sadie in next spring ... but we will see. I will miss having a vert as there is still nothing on the market like the C70.

Nice drop francisd ;) .

I'd be sad to see you leave the group, really love what you've done with your car.

I'm still planning an LSD and engine upgrades but had to drop a bunch of money into redoing the front wheel bearings and CV's plus new rear calipers so probably might hold off till next off season. currently it's parked till spring.

So this is normal that with time car could settle more? Is it with any suspension?

franscisd your car looks great. look forward to hearing what you have planned... stage 3 tune + LSD? awesome.
but another reason i'm not dropping is it seems folks end up with bad axels at a higher rate.

Mine is installed with the Heico suspension kit, made by KW.
Currently at the lowest setting, with 20mm-each-side spacers for the rear.
However, I wish it could be lower, so planning on getting air suspension soon.
And I would highly suggest not to get Hieco since mine is already leaking oil, and I've only used this set for 1 year.

I spoke with heico and they sad that for each part you have 5 year warranty
What do you mean by 20mm spacers? Or you are talking for the wheels? And could you adjust the the heights?

Just checked my height and looks like on a front i have about 25mm and rear 30mm clearance. Is it normal for stock?

Sorry for the confusion.
By spacers, I meant this:

So I could push the rear rims out so they would flush with the fenders.
My set is made by KW and it is height adjustable.
I got it from the Heico dealer in Taiwan, and this set was stocked for 2 yrs.
I was promised by the dealer that this set is definitely for C70.
However, on the Heico website, the suspension kit for C70 is made by Bilstein and should be height fixed.
Honestly, I believe the set I got is for S40/V50 AWD.
And for the leakage problem, the answer I got from dealer was that,
"since everyone drives differently, so he could not give me a warranty on that."
I've had many problems with Heico.
I purchased quite many items from Heico, and none of them fits.
Just for your reference.

Wow, sorry to hear that,
I asked a lot of question about this suspension and was told by Heico that its not adjustable and its not coilovers, they did checked if the part fit by my VIN number. So maybe its your dealer because im talking directly with Heico Germany since we do not have any dealer in US

I just saw the picture of Sadie on fb where it shows she dropped a lot more than in your initial photos. The 19x8 et45 seems to be the max you can go with the lowering setup of h&r/bilstein? I was looking at 19x8.5 et45 but want to lower later and not sure now if that will work. What do you guess think?

Hope you don't mind me posting:

Nope, I don't mind ;) , I had spacers on at the time as well ... all gone now :(. The angle of the photo may be a little deceiving. I was actually a little disappointed at first because it didn't seem like it was lowered a lot. Much better now. Like I think I posted somewhere, I've broken 2 sets of 19's on our lovely Michigan roads and with an eye to possibly trading the old girl in this spring have swapped on some Niche Targa's in an 18 inch size. I'll try to snap some photos this weekend.

You can see in the similarly posed photo below the wheels needed to be pushed out at the corners. I had 15's in front and 20's in the back.

19's with NO drop:

Thanks for the input! The spacers threw me off. So 8.5x19 should work fine. It definitely needs lowering with 19s though.

Looking forward to see the lowered setup with 18s. I'm still a little unsure about the 35 tire wall so might end up with 18s.
