I've been considering a tune for this summer and i know IPD and RICA do good ones. I do want to know about BSR as well, if anyone has had experience with them it would be helpful!!

obviously the best bang for the buck... BSR was the first major one out i believe.

the only bad thing is once you pay for that certain tune(stage 1, 2,3 etc) you cant upgrade for $100 or so bucks like you can with rica.

HOWEVER, the at the price of the bsr, you can get a catback AND a tune for same price as rica.

Rica isn't bad at all. Honestly i dont think any of the three are bad tunes at all..

bsr has been used by lots of people with good success.

now, that said, one of the major vendors has stopped selling bsr and has switched to RICA... interpret that as you will.

I have used both BSR and MTE stage 1. I like the MTE more in my T5 because the support from IPD is light years ahead BSR. Powerwise they are about the same, but MTE feels more civilized, and the throttle map is less lumpy. I have no experience with RICA, but people say nice things.

All good points! i have heard mixed things about BSR. Everyone has only good things to say about IPD and i fully agree. At the end of the day i guess IPD would be the best bet, what with the customer service. Either way i have got some research to do, i also may be switching to a V70 in which case i would tune immediately. any other suggestions are always welcome!!

if the product works as advertised, i can do with out $600 worth of customer service...

iPd is a great company, but there is barely a chance i would get rica or iPd unless they had a significant price drop...

Right and the fact that BSR is approx 600-700 as opposed to 1000 is a big factor. Being a student, the cheaper option is usually one of the first things noticed

my father always used to say was "if you can't afford the best, you can't afford either"

His point was, don't cheap out on something important, wait until you have enough money that you have all the available options then decide based on the products themselves, and not the price.

Directly from BSR or depending upon your model from BSR's US distributor. Vector Auto Tuning.

I got my Rica tune way back when it was on sale for 800 at EST... may want to ask if thats hapening again.

If EST was going to do a 800 dollar deal again id be ready right now, although i may be trading for a V70 soon.....then i will reflash that!
