For the past couple of months every once in a while when i roll the window down, the rubber strip rolls down with it causing to get stuck and stop. Its only been the driver window all the other ones are fine..
I have tints not sure if this is the reason. Also the guy who put the tints on didn't remove the door card to tint the entire window aka he went half ass(the front windows were tinted originally but then removed and redone at a different place due to a tint ticket ).
So im not sure what the reason is.

if anyone has any idea as to why or how to fix this please comment!

Same! Looking for answers as well...tho my cars tint is professionally done with door panels removed

Lube with small amount of silicone spray?

so in order for me to roll down the window sometimes i have to use a business card to keep the rubber strip from rolling down
it will work for now until i figure out how to fix the issue

Ok update:

I knew I broke a window clip, but it was still pulling the felt pad down before the clip broke.

So I replaced the window clips and put the window back on track and POOF! All better. Not more felt issues.

So my guess is you guys window is slightly off track

As an update:

Seems that after a week or so my window is back to folding down the weather strip.

So what did this time was take a razor and cut a small strip off the inner rub felt strip that contacts the window as shown below

Currently have uneven cuts due to it being late at night. First thing in the morning I will be straightening the lines and posting photos.

I cut 1/4" off or so...just enough for it to barely not touch the window. Still looks normal.

And it has solved the problem so far!

Yes ik, I'm living up to my user name...I'm crazy.

Cut the hole inside strip down this morning. As you can see in the below photos it still touches the window just enough to to prevent dust and junk from going inside. Still clean and prevents the window from pulling it inside :)

Enjoy

On hot days, my drivers side window sounds like a rabbit is being slaughtered when it's rolled down.

Oh the cacophony of squeals the swedes build into their cars.........
