I assume all of this is moot if you don't use the vehicle for business?

What do you mean by "a clear answer from Volvo"?

3.

4.

Great link. I got answers for the following, but no answer for front and rear axle clearances.

1) Approach angle (at curb weight)23.8 degrees

2.) Breakover angle (at curb weight)21.3 degrees

3.) Departure angle (at curb weight)23.3 degrees

4.) Ground clearance (Standard chassie) = 238 mm
Ground clearance (with air suspension) = 227 mm - 267 mm

Well, you needed 4 out of 5 so I believe you got what you needed. ;)

So then, you'd just need to use it for business to be able to take this exemption?

#1 does not qualify since it needs to be no less than 28 degrees. So we have confirmed only 3 so far, and so the last one about axle ground clearance is still very important.

total weight of the T6 XC90 per the link posted by 8-track is 2570 kg - 3010 kg... is 5,665-6,635lbs. So how is it exactly that you guys determined the weight to be over 6,000lbs? I assume the IRS would use company stated numbers, and not "I added a xyz which weights 400lbs".

Because it's 4WD I don't think it needs to be 6,000lbs. But maybe I'm reading the requirements wrong?
