I'm recieving a pair soon and I wonder if they'd fit for a spare set of wheels.

wow you have one nice set of cars there!! well the answer is yes the 16"s will most likely fit your car with no problem... i know 15 inch steal wheels fit with out any problems so i would guess that the 16s fit aswell..

Ditto. I bought my '97 854R with the turbos on it, although the tires were not correct in size and rubbed. You have to be careful there because the 850R is set up with little room to move. I'm going to have to replace my wheel well liner because I drove it so much with the larger tires that it rubbed through.

I've also been told the 15" wheels with snowtires will fit. I'm about to pick up a set from Annapolis Volvo in MD and they've told me it shouldn't be a problem.

i can say for a fact that 195/60/R 15's will fit the 97 850R with out any rub at all. i would think that if you keptd that demension inthe 16's just lowerd the 60 to maybe a 55 or 50 then it wouldnt be any problem either.
