Anyone know where I can get a pic by pic walk through? The ones in the DIY sections are more about rotor changes... not much on just pads. Any help would be appreciated! <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/tongue.gif" BORDER="0"> <BR><BR>

I can't see it being any more difficult than any other car. Just follow that guide. You're going to need a C clamp, and to prime your brakes again when you are done. Shouldn't be overly difficult, especially if you've done a brake job before.

There is a guide somewhere. For our brakes, you have to turn and press the piston. Rent the tool from Autozone. Other than that, everything is straight forward.

Remove wheels<br>Unbolt calipers<br>Slide them off<br>Remove pads<br>Push caliper piston in with channel locks<p><br>Remove two bolts for caliper bracket<br>Remove 10mm bolt that holds rotor on<br>Hit rotor with hammer to break free from hub<br>Replace rotor, re-install bolt<p>Re-install caliper bracket<br>Grease bracket where pads sit in place<br>Grease pads on sliding ends<br>Install pads<br>Re-install caliper<br>Tighten bolts <p>Re-install wheels<br>Put beer on ice<br>Test drive to verify pads have set<p>Park car and drink cold beer<br>Congratulations are in order for a job well done thus drink more beer.<p>That about sums it up, as for the pics, i dont have any of those sorry.
