Has anyone else had this problem:
I pull up to a stop light with brake depressed. While I wait for the light to change, the pressure goes off the pedal and the car starts to creep forward. I have to press further on the pedal to keep the car from moving.
Newish brake pads, plenty of brake fluid.

Press the pedal firmly. If the pedal keeps dropping to keep the engine from overcoming the brakes at idle, it sounds like a seal in the Master cylinder is leaking. It's probably only leaking internally (fluid past the seal), so there is no loss of brake fluild, but this can be pretty serious and could result in a total loss of brakes eventually.
If this were my vehicle, I'd have that puppy into the dealer (warantee) or shop as quickly as I could.
Jack

Re: (jib)

Yeah that's scary. Sounds like either hydraulic or could be your brake booster. Your pads shouldn't have anything to do with it unless you didn't have the system bled. You could have gotten air into the system.
