Latch in 850's or x70's = No. I know they were an accessory, easy bolt in for the first couple years of P2 platform V70 XC70, S60's and S80's. The availability of the Latch kit for the 850/S/V70 would have to be explored with a good parts person.

interesting. I'm kind of surprised. I would have thought they would have been right on top of that safety feature.

found this:

V70 (2000+) and S80 (2000 week 22+ only I recall) use the same items as follows:

V09488821 ISOfix anchorage £9.97
V09489949 ISOfix anchorage £9.97
V09488822 ISOfix guide (prevents upholstery damage, one per anchorage) £2.96
Unfortunate, but not a deal breaker.

To my knowledge the LATCH systems were not required until a certain year (not sure when).. Latch system are probably not intended for over 40lbs, I know in West VA the law changes when your child reaches 40lbs. Its the 3 fours, I think its: 1)4years old, 4ft 2)tall and 3) 40lbs and you can then move them into a booster seat which does not use latches, only the seatbelt. I was so happy to get mine into boosters!
