I have a 95 850 FWD Turbo Wagon now. (Not T-5 or R) The temp controls were a bit edgy meaning if on manual settings and you moved the fan control too far one way it would shut off completely or in Auto would freak out if you did a temp setting change of more than 10 degrees.

Today however it just stopped working all together. When I start up the car the lights for the recycle air button and the AC button will flash for a few moments but non of the controls will do a thing. The fuse is good.
???????????????????????????????????????????????

Common, replace both the blower motor AND the resistor pack at the same time.
(You don't know which one caused which to fail, always good to replace both)

Jim is right...a seizing fan will kill the resistor pack anyway- 9 times out of 10 it's a matter of time you'll be in there to replace it after you put in a new blower motor.
