Just seems odd, Volvo being such a safety consious company and all, wouldn't think they would promote drinking hard liquor while driving.
Maybe the "Bold Moves" campaign is bleeding over...

They could have at least given you an Aquavit glass...

CNN recently reported that Cingular will honor old-technology cellular platforms so long as the users pay a $5 monthly surcharge. Would this not also cover the Volvo phones?
Just curious.

Best use i've seen for that overly small cubby yet... perhaps a small airline sized bottle of Bacardi would fit as well... then you'd have a full on board bar. Maybe we can use that as a selling point to compensate for the horrendous resale value.

Since I just got back to the states...
Besides, the only reason I got the phone was for the On Call Plus safety feature, and that is going away very soon.

hmm, maybe this space will fit an athletic "cup"--that's a safety device after all, protecting even the pre-born!

That cubby is where I put my wallet. I don't drive with my wallet in my back pocket because it screws up my back and the wallet also leaves an indent in the leather seat. So it works out.

Actually, it turns out my Blackberry fits perfectly in there, so I will keep the cubby. I have to keep it on my at all times I'm away from work... but I can't wear it into work... so it stays in its cubby.

Is it just me or does that look like a beer?

Didn't someone else's dealer replace their high priced paperweight (On Call Plus) with the Bluetooth module for free? Seems a bit nicer than a cubby option...
I think Volvo should do this for all OCP owners.

Blue Tooth plus installation and the cup holder is a small investment for the dealer's future.
