Went to my dealer today (in UK) was looking at an S60 D5 (185bhp), 6000 miles, BiXenons, Inscription leather interior, 4C Chassis, 18" Nebula wheels, laminated side windows, rear praking assist, Black Stone Pearl .... for sale at £16500 (Retail price new = £31000).
I asked for a price to change my immaculate V50 with 25,000 miles, 2.0DSE, Bixenon Winter Pack, Family Pack, RTI Sat Nav, Premium Sound etc..... He said he would give me £12500 for my car (retail price new = £26000)
I did drive the 185bhp D5 .... it is amazing
I am not changing my car just yet though, not for £12500

Re: Dealer Embarrassment (denzo)

Whats the big deal? That s60 has 4 times less miles than your car and the price has dropped almost 50%.
Why wouldnt the same happen to your car with 25000 miles?

Funny in a way, since car for car the manual will be quicker, more fun, and have better fuel economy.

When we visited London last month I was MOST grateful to to have a ticket for the Virgin train and unlimited tube!
BTW, the entire family had an awesome time visiting longtime friends in Olney (near Milton-Keynes) with a side trip to the New Forrest as the highlight on our OSD tour! Beautiful country, wonderful people, and my friend tells me I don't need to worry about the speed cameras with my red OSD plates.
