Does anyone know how to deactivate the daytime running light function? Silverstars aren't cheap to replace, I'm on my second set in less than a year.

You made poll instead of a topic question <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vortexmediagroup.com/images/banghead.gif" BORDER="0"> (See above, post new topic, post new POLL)<br>Go to your dealer, they have to be Vadis initiated for MY 200 and newer, (add or delete DRLs).<br>You should read your owners manual and also be a bit more careful when you post here

Sorry about the poll vs. topic error. I realized my error after I posted <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/eek.gif" BORDER="0"> . I didn't even bother with the owner's manual, it hasn't been very forthcoming in the past <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/mad.gif" BORDER="0"> . Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, which is why I post here in the first place <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://********************/smile/emthup.gif" BORDER="0">

My 940 has Silverstars and DRLs and they last about 10 months. You're better to bite the bullet and buy the bulbs more frequently than to deactivate the DRLs which is a safety feature.<p>Also look at Hoen bulbs, they may be cheaper.

get HIDs, or buy VADIS, mine is on the way <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://********************/smile/emthup.gif" BORDER="0">
