Does anyone know if there are wires behind the area that I have circled in blue? Or is it just just plastic in front and plastic in back (with no wires in between)???

Thanks!

Re: Dash Wiring Question??? (nme95k)

opening this up could be tricky s40boy....

1st, you have pop off the plastic piece that covers the display screen and cd input.

then there are 4 STAR screws in the back of the floating dock,

then you gotta pop open the charger input the e-brake & unscrew 2 screws.

then you take the whole thing out one shot.

but before you take it out, you also have to take off the plastic cover behind the dock, and unplug the radio wires.

be careful... i took my time, i nearly cracked one of the WEAK plastic supports that hold it together....
