My car just got the weak door support syndrome that I have heard is pretty common on the earlier 850s. It started out as a weird sound, but now its two bangs that sound like someone hitting the door with a hammer. Took it to the body shop and they wanted $90 something to fix it. Is that reasonable?

My S70 had the same problem and the dealer fixed it under warranty.

The price they gave me for fixing it if not under warranty was in the range of what you were quoted. I think they said about $80 but it was under $100.
