Well, after <I>someone</I> *ahem* parked my car too close to the curb, I had to get replacement winglets. <p>I installed Carbon Fiber WERKS CF Spoilers. But I decided to do something a little different, so I had the top portion colour matched to the car along the contour line. I am pleased with the result, what do you guys think? Excuse the dirt and dust.<p><IMG SRC="http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a260/lowenhart/IMGP6250-1.jpg" BORDER="0"><br><IMG SRC="http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a260/lowenhart/IMGP6248.jpg" BORDER="0"><br><IMG SRC="http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a260/lowenhart/IMGP6247.jpg" BORDER="0"><br><IMG SRC="http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a260/lowenhart/IMGP6253.jpg" BORDER="0"><br><IMG SRC="http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a260/lowenhart/IMGP6251.jpg" BORDER="0"><br>

Re: Custom CF Winglets (lowenhart)

Looks great on black sapphire, same color as my car - if (when?) I wack my winglets I might go that route

Those look nice. The CF blends well with the black sapphire. Now if you install the splitter in CF that would look hot!

It makes me wonder if one took the carbon fibre part off of the winglet in your pic and kept the painted portion, just blended the side of the winglet a bit so it matched the sidekirt depth. Maybe it would look ok and not be as easy to catch/scrape winglets.-At the same time making the winglet look less of an afterthought.

Wow that looks amazing. I might have to do that. Did you paint it yourself or get someone to do it? If someone else how much did it cost?
