I have a 1994 850 T-5 wagon. I ran it at Willow Springs raceway near my house this weekend. I love this car! Its awsome. A couple of people approched me in the pits, wandering if it was a T-5R. Can anyone help me find out if mine is or isnt a R? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Curious question about my 850 (dzdncnfsd)

maybe if you post your VIN someone can verify for sure!! I dont think they were T5s in 1994. IIRC, in 1994 it was Base, GLT(no turbo at all) and Turbo(a 13G or 15G Mitsu unit). I could be wrong thou
Actually, just go here: http://forums.swedespeed.com/zerothread?id=14333

Re: Curious question about my 850 (JRL)

So you never came across a Mistitled car in your whole life JRL? One where the dealer or the used car lot or the WHOLESALER and DMV SCREWED up? And it is now one year different then it rolled off the line as on a reg or paperwork? lol Not everyone reads thier paperwork enough all the time. Nor has a VIN decoder in thier back pocket. And he might just have one where it says 94 but is not.

Re: Curious question about my 850 (JRL)

Hummm then the North East (tri-state in general) has come a long way I think. And that is very incourageing. But other parts of the USA might be behind slightly. The 96 965 I have and got in GA I brought back here to SC and to the DMV. I had a little trouble with the GA title to my name paperwork in Jan 06. First GA had the car as a 95 since it was built in 7/95 but it is a 96 as it has the newer S/V90 front end and was sold/represented as a 96 on ebay. And the VIN code in SC came back as it being a 96 as well. I also decoded it and knew it was before hand off ebay. Second it is a RED (a BRIGHT RED) car and SC reg at first said it was a maroon till I looked at it (paperwork) before paying and told them so. It was a very simple five mins redo BUT a REDO none the less. Finally while still in NJ back in the stone age of 91-94, I had a NJ reg on my 91 Explorer XLT. It said that the truck was silver. The truck was MED BLUE Metalic with only a silver hood and roof over blue from the pinstripe/lower window molding down. The ticket I got one day for parking had with it a IMPROPER DOC ticket as well with it from the STATE POLICE. They said upon running the plates for stolen/wanted vechs/abandoned as part of the parking ticket process they found that my truck was not blue but silver. And that was a ticketable offence. And that was thrown out of court with pictures in hand. But none the less a NJDMV paperwork tech error again. Stupid if you have half a brain really. But got to make quota! I agree JRL, they got or are getting better. But they are not that good yet to have "I have not seen one in 15 years". Or maybe sheltered is a better term?
