so, first of all: yes, I'm sorry for this thread
but I was so excited seeing another RED v50 standing at a ford dealership that I had to take some pictures... or kind of


since I bought my car, I've only seen 2 (! TWO!!) passion-red V50's around, and I drive a bunch of kilometers through germany...hehe

but none of them was modded in any way, so I believe that I've got the only red V50 over here that has been modded in some way...

How can you guys be talking about the grille when those.... uhhh... wheel covers
look soooooo bad! My 1994 940 had a better set than that. I'd rather drive on steel wheels.

hehe yeah, the waterfall grill looks pretty bad...

I believe that those wheel covers come standard with steel rims... see a lot of volvos driving around with them.

Man, if you can see the difference 5mm makes on those low-lit, blurry, highly pixelated pictures then I want what you're on.


No question car is lowered and looks better than the stocker.

But looking at these, I almost regret choosing the weitec lowering springs instead of the H&R. That 0.5 cm seems to make a difference.

believe it or not, those 0.5cm make a difference ... I had the direct comparison between a 20mm sport drop (volvo OEM), a 30mm eibach drop, and a 35mm H&R... and this made me wanted to go as low as possible - so I chose the H&Rs!

(could be a little lower at the back, though... some 1-2 centimeters)
