No...not that kind of cracked... :(

So I was under the car installing my UR lower rear braces and noticed that the haldex housing is cracked where it bolts to the subframe. Can't possibly be good. I tried to wiggle it a little...without any play. But still....:rolleyes:

Has anybody seen one of these before?

as long as you never have to unbolt that you'll be fine.

I don't know anything about these, but since there are parts within that may be sensitive to humidity (valves, pumps etc.) I would expect it needs to be sealed (i.e. silicone).

Yeah. It doesn't look like the actual housing is cracked...just the sleeve that bolts up. I'm afraid to touch it....

I wonder if someone skilled enough could weld that in the car and assembled as is. If not, perhaps some JB weld :(
