New member here with a couple of questions. Just recently looked at the s60 t5 and noticed it had 7.5 inch wheels and 235/45 tires - isn't that a bit too wide for the wheel? Anyone running 225s? Is there any information on the s60R, such as performance and pricing (was about to put a deposit down on a T5 until the salesperson said the R would be coming). I saw the PCC on the home page and am wondering how close that is to the upcoming R. TIA

In a general sense, 17-inch rims with a 45 series aspect ratio should have 235 mm wide tires for the speedo to read properly.
The PCC II will be closer than the PCC I to what the production S60R will look like. The front spoiler, grill, and side sills are more in line with what the prodution version will have. This car will have a 2.4 liter 5-cylinder turbo producing 300hp/295lb.ft. If I remember correctly, Aftonbladet tested the concept PCC I 0-60 mph in around 5.5 seconds or so. I am guessing the price is going to be around the $43k mark and it might be available by the late spring of 2002.
I hope this helps!
-Drew
[This message has been edited by InDy (edited 09-09-2001).]
