I don't have the money to do something like this. But isn't that what Volvo did?
So could one buy an aftermarket turbo and have it installed?
What problems would there be? Would it be cheaper to sell the S70 and get yourself a T-5?
[This message has been edited by Jcrew (edited 09-08-2002).]

There is a kit that Eastern Aerospace produces to convert a naturally aspirated S70 to a light-pressure turbo. The kit costs about $3500 w/ the new exhaust and the estimated power increase is 40 hp. You can find the kit at <A HREF="http://www.easternaerospace.com/automotive/engine/." I think that your money would be better spent selling your naturally aspirated S70 and buying a T5, which has a high pressure turbo running at about 9.7 psi of boost.
