I'm sure that P* tuned these cars to have the high speed cooling fans engage at key off (for racing and whatnot). With the ambient temps climbing here in CT, I've noticed this occurring much more frequently. Assume this is normal? Aside from ECT, are there any other parameters that would trigger the fans on?

I've had a few modified cars with high horsepower (400-550hp) and their tunes would allow for the same but I didn't really expect this from the P*.

Interesting... I haven't really run the AC at all in this rig and the fans have kicked on quite a bit. Not that this is a huge issue. Just having the fans set for high speed at key off raises a lot of eyebrows when I park the car. lol

It kicks on frequently here. Ambient temperature is between 45-50 celcius. I give the car about 3 mins to cool down before I shut it but the fans will come on.
