connection cable between vida dice and volvo computer

Hi All,

maybe you will be able to advice or help , i have vida dice on my pc already but dont have cable in order to connect my pc with my volvo v60 1.6 tdi made in 2012, is allot around obd 2 cables but i need which will work with divce and my volvo so now stuck which to buy or maybe this is not cable problem ? any opinions?

Dice is the "cable" you use, it's a Volvo proprietary OBD2-eqsue box.

The software is called VIDA. NOT Vida Dice.

A generic OBD2 reader might work with VIDA, but I doubt it given how finicky the software is. Search eBay or similar for a Volvo Dice unit, there's tons of sellers, with parts of varying quality.

DiCE is a J2534-2 interface with some Volvo extras.
Some other J2534 cables could give you some functions in Vida, but is not recommended.
OBD2 readers will NOT work.
