Again, crossposting with my build thread, but I thought this is an important bit of information to have. I never was able to find an actual weight for a 2005 S60R, it was different depending on the source, ranging from 3400-3700 lbs. Well I got my car on the scales today at the national tour and took a picture. Keep in mind I have KW coilovers (maybe a few pounds less than stock), no muffler in my catback, and the drivers seat is replaced with a bucket seat. This is with 1/3 tank of gas.

I was pleasantly surprised that the weight distribution is about 58/42 front/rear. Keep in mind a STi is 58/42 and an Evo is 61/39. I have another inch I can drop the rear, so my goal is 55/45. Now to get my hands on some scales to corner balance :partywave:

Not bad at all, especially distribution between front and rear , but if you're going to drop weight in the rear you'll increase weight in front , or I misunderstand something ?!

What are the other numbers on the screen ? like LF-1042, LR - 733 etc

Drop the rear, as in physically lower it on the coilovers. That will shift weight from the front to the rear

^Trolling ?

LF (LEFT FRONT) 1042lbs
etc
Probably not English first langauge.

i have corner weighed my V70R and was quite surprised with how well it's balanced. With about 3/8 tank fuel, 170lb driver weight and the rear seats removed i was at 3795lbs 50.49% corner weight. With the rear seats in i was at 3895 lbs and 50.55%

What did you do with your seat?

After I took it out? Put it in the attic ;)

You've managed to drop 123lbs compared to my stock 04 MT S60R. That seems close to reasonable with your muffler delete and lightweight driver's seat. I assume the KW struts are actually lighter than stock struts?
