Powell is a great guy personally and has been a member of our Volvo club for many years (WVC). Doesn't come to meetings of course, but keeps his dues paid. When he was still a three-star he lived in quarters on FT Meyer and kept his garage full of old Volvo parts. He rebuilt a 140 (I think) for his daughter to take to college. <P>He is, however, a bit too politicaly liberal for my tastes; a flaw that, unfortunately, I see runs rampant through the Volvo crowd. <p>[This message has been edited by PWSchuh (edited 09-15-2002).]

I've been thinking of sending his office a letter. Given all that's going on, I am not so sure he has time to be granting interviews on Volvos, but you never know...<P>As for the Washington Volvo Club, do you think they'd be interested in a dedicated WVC forum here.
