Hey guys just had a queston about cold air intakes, i dont want to get into the whole thing about the ecu heating up or the silica levels in the oil or any of that jazz, just wonder if any one had a preference between the K n' N typhoon or the injen sp9080? Pros/Cons. Its for a 2005 s40 t5 m66 FWD

Pros for both is the noise, turbo gets a bit more audible as well as the cbv.
Having the K&N, oiling is a long process and isnt the best thing to do, but then again not the worst. Only problems I had is the install, the factory airbox is hard to get out. I pulled hard enough to fall on my a$$ when it finally came out. There is also a rubber expansion piece that holds part of the water shield down. It broke quickly, but remedied with the large bolt for the rubber piece and a couple of large washers. Over all well worth it tho.
