Eh, it probably won't read any of the Volvo specific codes. Generic scanners should be able to read the stuff you list. I bet it's CAN compliant, but only reads OBDII codes. If I'm wrong, however, this will be a nice pickup.

Keep in mind that scanners that can do what you're describing this one does, can be had for less $, and locally usually. Mine was a little more money, but I didn't shop around until *after* I bought it, and boy was I surprised.

As far as reading codes for ALL the volvo speciffic modules the PPC code reader by BSR is the best it runs about $200 but it reads and clears all including srs etc which is good because i do work at an independant volvo shop now

Very good info. This looks like a VERY affordable solution to those who need to access all the modules on the canbus.

^^ Yeah the PPC tool comes with a manual that list all codes for all modules when you read a code with it just teh code comes up on screen and then look in the manual and it will give a short descrition points you in the right place at least for a resonable price
